Southern Fried Cauliflower Steak

1: Set up your breading station, one bowl for non dairy milk and one bowl with flour, salt and pepper.

2: Dip the cauli steak in the milk, then the flour. Repeat until all steaks and florets are dredged.

3: Heat your veg oil to 350F in a heavy, high walled pan or pot. You will know it’s hot when you place a pinch of flour in the oil and it instantly starts bubbling.

4: Cook your cauli steaks 4-6 minutes a side, carefully flip and cook until golden brown all over. Set on a wire rack to let the excess oil drip off.

5: Make the two sauces by combining all the hot ‘honey’ ingredients in a small bowl and the same with the peppercorn ranch.

6: Serve all the steaks on a platter, family style and top with the hot ‘honey’ and more fresh dill.
