Instructions
1. In a blender, add all the green sauce ingredients (spinach, cashews, nutritional yeast, basil pesto cube - or 1/4 cup fresh basil, zested and juiced lemon, and water) and blend until super smooth. 2. Once your pasta is cooked according to package directions, drain it and place in a large bowl with the black beans. Add enough of the green sauce to evenly coat the pasta and beans. Store the prepared pasta salad in the fridge for up to 1 week. Tips for feeding babies: - If your baby is under 18 months, thoroughly cook the spinach before blending. - Be mindful of the size of pasta and beans you're using. You may want to slightly overcook the pasta. - When introducing beans, mash them up with a fork for younger children.View original recipe
