These Buffalo Sloppy Joes are a delicious and easy-to-make dish, perfect for Super Bowl parties or any lunch or dinner. Packed with flavor from buffalo sauce, tempeh, and a homemade ranch, it's a wholesome choice for everyone.
1: Preheat your oven to 400°F.
2: In a large pan, add 1 tbsp of olive oil and heat over medium heat. Add the diced onions and cook for 2 minutes. Next, add the crumbled tempeh and stir to combine. Add the buffalo sauce, maple syrup, and soy sauce. Stir and cook for 5 minutes. Season with 1 tsp of salt and black pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning. Set aside.
3: In a small bowl, make the ranch by adding the mayo, chives, dill, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir to combine and set aside.
4: Slice the slider buns in half and top with the buffalo tempeh. Top that with shredded cheese and bake for 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
5: While it’s baking, top the tops of the buns with a dollop of ranch.
